As Vice President and General Manager of the Mission Critical Environments Division, Jonathan oversees all of the day-to-day business and future planning and development for Subzero and Simplex. Jonathan has a varied career thus far that has him skilled in Project Management, Product Management, and leading entrepreneurial initiatives. He received his MBA from Owen School of Management at Vanderbilt University. Jonathan is a problem solver by nature and believes that our customers deserve a premier experience that starts with the quote and ends with a successful installation. Jonathan has played soccer his entire life and is now enjoying coaching his own kids. He is a proud father of 3, loves the beach, the mountains, and anything involving adventurous travel in the great outdoors. He wishes he had time to fish!
Sam attended Louisiana State University where he studied Construction Management. Over the last 15 years he has held a variety of sales roles with different manufacturers and service organizations within the critical facility space. Before joining Subzero he was a Solutions Engineer for BGA, a Vertiv independent rep firm. He joined Subzero in 2018 as the Director of Sales, Americas where he created Subzero’s territorial sales team and authored MCE’s Sales Playbook. In October of 2019 he was promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Senneca Holding’s Mission Critical Environments Business Unit, which encompasses both the Subzero and Simplex brands.
During his time at Subzero Engineering Mark has been responsible for operations, product deployment and sales, modifications, product research and development, and development of site specific solutions. Mark brings a wealth of knowledge from his previous Mechanical Contracting history. Before starting at Subzero, Mark was the President and Operations Manager of Mechanical Contractor, Ramrk Inc. He is a Master Licensed Mechanical HVAC Contractor and Journeyman, certified by ICC as Mechanical Systems Inspector for commercial/industrial systems, certified for various municipalities as Mech Systems HVAC Inspector and is a Master Licensed Plumbing Contractor and Journeyman.
Nick fulfills the role of AisleFrame Product Manager, where his mechanical background and education assist him in developing creative solutions that focus on client needs. He possesses a knowledge and aptitude with several CADD packages that allow him to do his job as effectively as possible. His love of architecture moves him to create products that are esthetically pleasing as well as functional. Gareth Higgins is the Director of Sales for Subzero EMEA. Gareth has 10 years of experience selling within the data centre industry, which began with distribution in Dublin Ireland, then onto project management in Brisbane, Australia. Gareth was recognized with closing one of the largest projects in their company’s history. In his spare time Gareth plays soccer with his local club.
Rick has an extensive background in electrical power and control, instrumentation and automation system programming, and project management. He utilizes his knowledge and skills to oversee the Project Management Office for Subzero as a Senior Project Manager. Rick holds master electrical licenses in multiple states and is certified in all aspects of data center design including the power chain, cooling chain, IT infrastructure and energy efficiency. Rick enjoys recreating and spending time with his family when not working.
Before hiring on to Subzero Engineering, Gary was the Founder / Owner / Operator of multiple businesses including Red Wolf Long Haul Trucking, TNG Automotive, and Utah Auto Spa. Gary has extensive background in the mechanical field; welding, fabrication, auto electronics and wiring. He utilizes this background to help sell products for Subzero. In his down time he enjoys hunting, fishing, reloading, 4-wheeling, and most of all... his family.
