As Vice President of Technical Services, Charlie oversees the daily operations of the Site Services department for Subzero Engineering. Charlie spent the first part of his professional career in public accounting where he sharpened his skills performing financial statement audits for mid-size privately held organizations. His love for the outdoors motivated him to make the move from Philadelphia, PA to Salt Lake City, UT in the summer of 2009. Shortly there after, Charlie joined the Subzero Engineering team as CFO. Charlie graduated from Arcadia University, Glenside, PA. Charlie is an avid skateboarder, showcased by the half pipe he built in his backyard. He is also a runner and participates in distance races. Above all else, Charlie loves spending time with his cherished wife and high maintenance, but endearing bulldog.
While enjoying a successful career in the mechanical industry Vince was asked by Larry Mainers to join him in the creation of Subzero. Utilizing Subzero as a creative outlet he began designing airflow management products and became fluent in multiple CFD software packages. As things developed Vince took on the development and management of the sales effort around the world.
During his time at Subzero Engineering Mark has been responsible for operations, product deployment and sales, modifications, product research and development, and development of site specific solutions. Mark brings a wealth of knowledge from his previous Mechanical Contracting history. Before starting at Subzero, Mark was the President and Operations Manager of Mechanical Contractor, Ramrk Inc. He is a Master Licensed Mechanical HVAC Contractor and Journeyman, certified by ICC as Mechanical Systems Inspector for commercial/industrial systems, certified for various municipalities as Mech Systems HVAC Inspector and is a Master Licensed Plumbing Contractor and Journeyman.
Nick fulfills the role of Containment Product Manager, where his mechanical background and education assist him in developing creative solutions that focus on client needs. He possesses a knowledge and aptitude with several CADD packages that allow him to do his job as effectively as possible. His love of architecture moves him to create products that are esthetically pleasing as well as functional. Before hiring on to Subzero Engineering, Gary was the Founder / Owner / Operator of multiple businesses including Red Wolf Long Haul Trucking, TNG Automotive, and Utah Auto Spa. Gary has extensive background in the mechanical field; welding, fabrication, auto electronics and wiring. He utilizes this background to help sell products for Subzero. In his down time he enjoys hunting, fishing, reloading, 4-wheeling, and most of all... his family.
Rick has an extensive background in electrical power and control, instrumentation and automation system programming who utilizes his knowledge and skills to provide the technical direction in development of power and cabinets for Subzero Engineering. Rick holds Master Electrical licenses in multiple states and is certified in all aspects of data center design including the power chain, cooling chain, IT infrastructure, energy efficiency, and project management. Rick enjoys remote camping, fishing and hunting in the mountains of Western USA and spending time with his family.
JR joined Subzero with an extensive background in logistics and implementing Policies and procedures. This has enabled him to minimize the cost of shipping to our customers without compromising the quality of service. JR's duties at Subzero include managing shipping and receiving, quoting, tracking, and always looking for new ways to streamline the Shipping Department. In his spare time, JR enjoys spending time with his family, his lovely wife Jill, and beautiful daughter Lilly Moon.
Steve is the Site Services Project Manager for Subzero Engineering. He is responsible for coordinating all aspects of installation services, which includes developing and growing the department as a whole; assisting in the design, bidding, and approval process; as well as project planning, coordination, and execution of all on-site installations. Steve has some 20 years of project and operations management experience to draw from. His personal interests include all sorts of outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, and kayaking with his wife and 3 kids.
Gordon Johnson is the Senior CFD Engineer at Subzero Engineering, and is responsible for planning and managing all CFD related jobs in the U.S. and worldwide. He has over 25 years of experience in the data center industry which includes data center energy efficiency assessments, CFD modeling, and disaster recovery. He is a certified U.S. Department of Energy Data Center Energy Practitioner (DCEP), a certified Data Centre Design Professional (CDCDP), and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology. Gordon also brings his knowledge and ability to teach the fundamentals of data center energy efficiency to numerous public speaking events annually.
Shannon graduated from the Salt Lake Community College with a degree in Visual Art and Design - Multimedia Emphasis. She brings more than 10 years of experience in creating marketing materials, websites, videos, graphics, and more. As the Marketing Creative Specialist for Subzero Engineering she looks forward to creating amazing marketing materials to further separate Subzero from its competitors and promote sales. Away from work she enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her husband and three kids.
Tim has twelve years of commercial construction experience, and seven years of data center experience. He came into the data center world as the Facility Manager at the QTS Metro Atlanta Data Center. Over the course of his seven-year term, he transitioned from Facility Manger to Special Projects and on to Data Center Design Engineer with the QTS engineering group. As a former Subzero end user, Tim understood the value of a strong partnership. The data center industry is an ever evolving, highly dynamic environment. Building strong relationships with clients and setting the standard for service were key to Subzero winning his business.
Lloyd moved from stationary engineering in New York City to the Data Center environment 25 years ago. His HVAC and facilities background has given him a full grasp of thermal environments and heat exchange principles that are required for efficiently removing heat load in data centers. He has worked internationally, providing engineering and industrial solutions for both facility and IT initiatives. Further he has performed hundreds of CFD analysis achieving optimum data center layout and cooling solutions. Presently he provides strategic support to clients in the North East sector of the United States where he resides. In his many travels, Lloyd enjoys learning about history, touring museums, and sharing all that he's discovered as a resident tour guide to any one who visits his neck of the woods.
As Staff Accountant, Ricardo deals with all accounting tasks in our Ireland office. Ricardo has a background in both personal and commercial accounts and tax. He also looks after many aspects of Human Resources and Administration. Away from work he enjoys spending time outdoors and with friends and family.
Erin's duties at Subzero include keeping track of and ordering office supplies, communicating between fellow employees and customers to schedule jobs, as well as keeping track of and organizing expenses incurred on jobs. Prior to joining the Subzero team, her employment as a medical assistant for a dermatologist helped her to develop communication and organization skills. In her spare time, Erin enjoys various outdoor activities and spending time with her lovely husband, Garrett and their cat, Gravy.
As the President, Tony spends his days and occasionally nights working with the exceptional Sales and Operations Teams at Senneca Holdings to increase the value proposition for our internal and external customers. His diverse career experiences have allowed him to bring innovative and proactive solutions to the many new challenges of a rapidly growing business unit. Tony graduated from Olivet College with a B.A. in Business Administration. When Tony is not working he can usually be found on a soccer field with his boys in the Pacific Northwest or the closest fitness center.
