Polar Cap™:

Q: How can any needed maintenance be done above the Polar Cap™?

A: The vinyl roof can be retracted into the cassette for any maintenance needed above it. Simply remove the two fusible links and allow the vinyl to retract. After maintenance is completed simply pull vinyl roof back into place and reattach fusible links.

Q: What if I have an aisle that is longer than 20’? Can I still use the Polar Cap™?

A: Yes. Simply use more than one Polar Cap™ unit. (i.e. For a 40’ aisle place two units facing each other and engage the vinyl roofing.)

Q: What if I have an aisle is wider than 56”?

A: Although the standard stock size of the Polar Cap™ is 20’L x 56” W. SubZero can custom build the size unit you need. *Custom sizes may still be limited.

The Cube™:

Q: What if the cable cutout I need to fill doesn’t have a corresponding stock cube size?

A: Remember The Cube™ is pliable. It can be compacted into smaller sizes and expands to fill the area needed. For example: if you need to fill a 9”x12” cable cutout our 9”x14” stock size will work! Also keep in mind that SubZero can make custom sizes.

Bend N’ Snap™ Blanking Panels:

Q: Is hardware needed to attach the blanking panels?

A: Yes. Any hardware (screws 10-32 or M-6) that corresponds to the rack will work to hold the blanking panel in place. SubZero can supply hardware if needed. Please contact a representative to discuss what hardware will be needed for your rack application. Our fasteners are tool-less!
